Memorial Hospital’s team of board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, therapists, social workers and pre-op educators provide quality, evidence-based orthopaedic care. Utilizing surgical techniques with the goal of achieving the best outcomes for our patients, the orthopaedics team offers comprehensive pre-procedure education in a calm and supportive environment.

Postoperative care is provided by an orthopaedic physician and a nursing/therapist team.  These nurses/therapists provide education to patients on care techniques following discharge along with instruction on any specialty equipment needed for continuing care.

Orthopaedic Services at Memorial’s 16th Avenue Station

Memorial’s 16th Avenue Station offers orthopaedic services. Board-certified orthopaedic surgeons and other health care professionals provide orthopaedic care and accept community referrals on a routine, urgent or emergency basis.

Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to orthopaedic care, there are on-site radiological services by certified radiology technicians and experienced orthopaedic nursing care. The complete array of therapy services allows the medical providers and therapists the opportunity of direct interaction to provide immediate patient benefit. This continuum of care enhances patient service in a comprehensive manner.

The treatment team coordinates this full spectrum of care for the individual patients of all ages with a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Treatment goals are aimed at returning the patient to their highest functional state by providing quality care in a safe, encouraging and healthy recovery environment.
