The Memorial Foundation

With an unwavering commitment to the community, The Memorial Foundation provides the resources needed to fund today’s initiatives and tomorrow’s promises with a mix of philanthropic and grants development.

The Memorial Foundation was founded by Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in 1989, and has demonstrated unique leadership in collaboration and creative resource development and community partnerships. Last year, the foundation donors contributed and allocated more than $1 million to local health care programs in Central Washington.

A gift to the Foundation is an investment in the community’s health. Each year, The Memorial Foundation funds more than $1 million in programs that improve the quality of life and health for thousands of men, women and children in the Yakima Valley. A gift to The Memorial Foundation addresses a wide range of programs and purposes, including:

  • Children’s Village.
  • Children’s Health Programs.
  • Home Care and Hospice.
  • Cancer Care Services.
  • Women’s Programs.
  • Infant Care Programs.
  • Passport to Health®.
  • YouthWorks.

Thank you for considering a gift to The Memorial Foundation. Every dollar given makes a real difference, as thousands of families and individuals are reached and helped every year in Central Washington.
